How long will it take to complete my order? When you complete our order form we are notified of your request immediately and can start to prepare things ready for when we receive your albums or cassettes. On receipt of your recorded media we aim to have your completed order back in the post to you within 5 working days. This may be slightly longer or shorter depending on our work volumes at the time. If there is going to be a delay we will notify you by email with a proposed posting date. We check and collect from our PO box daily so there is no delay to your order.
What if I want a combination of records and cassettes converting? That is not a problem, we can even combine the tracks from both onto a single CD if you prefer. Just let us know on your order. All you need to do is specify your requirements on the order form, send us the recorded media and we will do the rest.
Will the quality of recording always be perfect? Recordings on vinyl or cassette are both subject to deterioration through aging, cleanliness etc. and they are often of a poorer quality than digital recordings. We use state of the art software to analyse and improve the quality of the recording to it's optimised level. This will vary dependent on the quality of the original but we will use our equipment and expertise to give you the best possible results. What if I'm not happy with the quality of the recording? If we are unable to get the quality of the recording to an acceptable level we will discuss this with you prior to putting the tracks on to a CD (if specified on the order) and will email you a sample to see if it would be acceptable to you. If you are not satisfied with the finished product contact us to discuss the problem and we will arrange for a replacement or full refund if you have sent us any money. Your satisfaction is very important to us.
What if I am not satisfied with my order? Please get in touch with us to discuss what you are not happy with and we will do all we can to resolve your issues through a replacement or refund all money you have sent to us. Your satisfaction is very important to us.
Can I have my records converting into several different formats? We offer a wide range of formats and can convert into one or more of them. Please specify your requirements on your order and we will do the rest. We will always convert tracks into MP3 (unless otherwise specified on the order) and email you those on completion of your order, once payment has been received.
How safe is the postage method you use? We use Royal Mail Standard Parcels post which has several advantages

What if I live locally, can I deliver the records myself to save postage? By all means, we are based in Nottingham. Contact us to arrange delivery and we will do the rest.
What happens if things get lost in the post? First of all this is very unlikely and a rare occurrence. We use Royal Mail Standard Parcels Mail Service which automatically covers your package for up to £34. We cannot be responsible for what happens to the post and whilst your originals may be lost, we would still have the recordings we made and would be happy to resend your order without any further cost to yourself as a goodwill gesture.
Why do I have to post to a PO box? We use a PO Box as part of the security for your order. By using a PO Box your package gets posted to us at a Post Office, where it remains until we collect it. (We collect from our PO box daily) This way your valued records/tapes cannot get lost by being posted through the wrong letterbox or go missing in the streets.

How do you convert the vinyl tracks to MP3 tracks? We use state of the art hardware to transfer your vinyl tracks to our PC via a USB 2.0 connection, using sophisticated software to capture the file onto a PC. Once we have the tracks saved to the PC we use different software to analyse the tracks and it's with this software that we optimise the sound recording, removing crackles, hisses and other unwanted noise. If not done correctly this can detract from and reduce the quality of what becomes the final MP3 track. Finally, once we are happy with the recording we use a further software application to convert to one of the formats offered. If requested on the order, we can then arrange the tacks and burn them onto a CD.
You can do it yourself but you would need some means of transferring the vinyl track to a PC, such as a turntable with a USB 2.0 connection and a software program that will convert the incoming signal to a digital audio file. Both can be purchased from reputable online stores for around £100 - £500 To improve the quality of the recording a good quality audio cleaning software application, which are available from £40 - £,1000 Finally, if you want to convert to a different format you may need another software programme to do this. These are available online from £25 - £150 Finally, you need to be computer literate and learn how to use all of these applications.
What is Live Help and how much does it cost? Live help is a FREE service we use to enable visitors to communicate to us in real time whilst they are visiting the site. If we are online it will show when you visit the site and all you do is click on the icon on any page and type in your question. One of our operators will be with you as soon as they are available and will answer your questions. What payment options are there? Do not send any money until your order has been completed to your satisfaction. We are confident that we will be able to produce tracks that will meet your expectations so our guarantee to you is to only take payment when you are totally satisfied.
Do you ever have a sale or discounts? We offer permanently low prices so there is no need for sales or discounts. We feel we offer a high quality service, with the customer at the centre of everything we do and feel our prices reflect excellent value for money. However, as a thank you for your order. we will include a discount voucher that you can use on your next order, or pass on to family or a friend to use when they order.
Will a CD play in my car and on my CD player at home? We use top quality CD's that will play on any standard CD player, including those in use in the car, home or on your PC.
